at the invitation of the ministry of environment and sustainable development of mauritania in africa and the xinjiang institute of ecology and geography of the chinese academy of sciences, zhao shuhai, president of yuncheng city invention association and general manager of yuncheng qinghai technology co., ltd., attended the international forum on taklimakan desert and sahara desert held at the national convention center in nouakchott, the capital of mauritania in africa. more than 100 officials and experts from relevant national institutions such as china, mauritania, ethiopia, mali, sudan, nigeria, senegal, chad, uganda, and the secretariat of the united nations convention on desertification attended the meeting. the meeting aimed to further promote the organic integration of "china's program" and "african technology" in desertification control. to help improve the ability to cope with land degradation, desertification and drought, promote the implementation of china's plan in africa and contribute to achieving the united nations' 2030 goal of zero growth in land degradation and global sustainable development. fifteen experts and scholars gave a report, and zhao shuhai introduced to the conference the role of his international patent "shubao" in desertification control, prevention and control of land degradation, and promotion of agricultural production and income increase, which attracted much attention.

the attendees also visited the demonstration of "shubao" in the "central african green technology park" in the sahara desert of mauritania. the orange and pomegranate trees grown very well with "shubao", and it is estimated that they will bear fruit next year, providing a chinese technical solution for local agricultural development and desertification control, which amazed the african representatives. after carefully examining this artifact and understanding its principles and usage methods, they expressed their intention to promote its use. once widely adopted, it will bring huge economic benefits to africa.

the comparison between using "shubao" and not using it is very obvious. the experiment of "shubao" in the sahara desert of africa was very successful and will bring infinite vitality to this vast desert. the invention of yuncheng will benefit the whole world!

the conference also issued the "nouakchott declaration", which pointed out that the taklamakan desert and the sahara desert have similar geographical environments and ecological problems, and both face common challenges such as desertification, sandstorms, vegetation degradation, and water scarcity. in order to deepen cooperation on "sharing desertification control practices and building a green great wall", and to implement relevant international conventions and development agendas, we have gathered in nouakchott, mauritania to reach a consensus and issue this declaration:

1. creating two desert dialogue mechanisms

establish a dialogue mechanism between the two major deserts of taklamakan and sahara, consolidate consensus on cooperation,collaborate on desertification control actions,break down barriers to cooperation, and lay a solid foundation for the global community of   desert governance.

2. shared desertification control technology and database construction

share the desertification control technology and practical experience of both parties, focus on building the african green great wall database and desertification control model library, integrate desertification control data, cases, and technical resources, and achieve efficient exchange of technical experience.

3. strengthening capacity building and talent cultivation

carry out training on desertification prevention andcontrol technology, expert visits, and degree education cooperation, cultivate professional desertification prevention and control talents,and enhance the independent prevention and control capabilities of local teams in relevant countries.

4. promote technology implementation and park construction

using the central african green technology park as a carrier, implement ecological restoration demonstration projects, promote adaptive desertification control technologies, and make desertification control achievements benefit the public, forming replicable and promotable practical models.

5. strengthening cooperation in desertification prevention and control research

strengthening cooperation in desertification prevention and control research focuses on key issues such as the evolution laws of the two major desert ecosystems, adaptation technologies for desertification control under the influence of climate change, and cross regional water resource optimization allocation. joint research teams are formed, joint laboratories and research bases are established, interdisciplinary and cross regional collaborative research is carried out, and globally influential scientific research achievements are produced to provide scientific theoretical support and technical solutions for desert control.
